Mandeep's WHY

“I chose to name the label after my daughters so I will always remember the reason I’m doing this - for them. I want to give them a better life than I had as a child. I want this business to grow and flourish into something I can pass down to my children. Jazz is already so keen to be involved, she’s even started doing designs and asking me to make them!" 

Jazz & Milly is an online independent boutique based in Brisbane, Australia. We focus on capsule collections for the socially conscious and fashion-forward woman. We use only the highest quality fabrics to produce timeless pieces that will last years. Jazz & Milly has been operating since 2019 in New Zealand but Mandeep has made a move to Australia in 2024 to be near to her family. 

Mandeep (owner and operator) arrived in New Zealand from India in 2007 to study and soon fell in love with New Zealand and she knew it was the place she wanted to raise a family. With a background in fashion retail and a dream of starting her own brand, Jazz & Milly was "born" in 2019. Combining her love for both New Zealand and India, she designs garments in Wellington and gets them ethically made in India.

For Mandeep, Jazz and Milly is a labour of love. Every detail of design comes from her heart, and she chooses colours and fabric with care. Jazz & Milly support ethical production to mass production. Our limited run batches are manufactured in New Delhi and Jaipur in India by a small number of factories that we have a close relationship with. Mandeep gets in touch with her suppliers through Whatsapp chats and video calls which give her the surety that everything aligns with her values. 

CAREFULLY CHOSEN FABRIC: Since the day Mandeep planned to open up the business, she decided to choose low-impact fabrics such as Linen, Organic Cotton, Responsible Wool, Cashmere, and Sustainable Viscose, and other eco-conscious materials. She also pays full attention to ensuring these amazing fabrics are transformed into long-lasting pieces that will stay in your wardrobe for years.

ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING: Jazz & Milly uses eco-friendly packaging for all our garments and accessories. All orders are sent in courier bags from r3packnz. The pouch bags along with accessories and little bags are designed for you to reuse. You might not find fancy packaging from Jazz & Milly. We try to use minimal packaging so our suppliers are told to send the shipments without plastic packaging.

WEAR MORE, WASH LESS: To ensure their longevity, we recommend proper care of your clothing as it will extend their life and minimize your environmental footprint. Wear more, wash less is better for both the garments and the planet. We recommended limiting washing and doing gentle cold hand wash if necessary as it is less likely to shake out fibres. Avoid machine washing, hot water, harsh chemical detergent, soak, bleach, wire, or rub. Store it properly and stay away from direct sunlight.

SHIPPING AND REFUNDS

Shipping information
All items generally shipped within 1-3 working days through Australia Post.
Shipping within Australia is $9 flat rate for orders under $150 AUD.
Shipping to New Zealand with AU post is $15 under the order value $199 and free shipping over it.
Please make sure you provide the correct address. All prices are in AUD.

Returns Policy

Our policy lasts 21 days upon receiving your purchase. No refunds on over 30% off sale items. we are happy to exchange sizing, style and offer a store credit. If you would like a refund please email us, we can only approve refunds, if tags are attached on items and it meets the 21 days period. We cannot offer a refund on an end of line items or sale items. 

We do not have to give a refund if you change your mind about a purchase — so please choose carefully.

If the product you have bought is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

 

ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, with tags attached. Email us to get a return form.  If you are shipping an item back to us, you should consider using a trackable shipping service. This is so your item is not lost as we cannot exchange an item we have not received.

WANT A REFUND:

If you would like to return for a refund, please email us at support@jazzmilly.com with order number and your name.

Once we receive your package we will process your return, and send your refund request to our accounts team, this can take up to 5 business days. Sale items cannot be refunded. 

We as a small business wants you to be happy and satisfied with our items so please ask any questions regarding size, fabric or general questions.

RETURN POLICY

 To be eligible for a refund or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Refunds 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Refunds will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a 7-10 days depending on bank processing times.

Sale items 

Only regular priced or damaged items may be refunded minus courier charges. Unfortunately over 30% off sale items are not eligible for a refund. 

Exchanges

We will happily exchange items that are damaged, defective or the incorrect size.
